Hello, Kúbome family! Today I'm bringing you a modern on a classic Andalusian breakfast: Bread with Tomato and Grated Garlic . It's a super simple and quick recipe, perfect for those days when you want to start your day with energy and lots of flavour. Let's get started!

Ingredients:

  • Country bread or baguette
  • Ripe tomatoes
  • Garlic clove
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Optional extras

Utensils:

  • Grater Plate: Essential for achieving the perfect texture.

Procedure:

  1. Cut the bread into slices approximately one centimeter thick.
  2. Toast the slices until they are golden brown and crispy, which will give them that special touch.
  3.  Start grating the garlic: peel a clove and grate it directly onto the grater plate. This method infuses the dish with a delicious aroma right from the start.
  4. Next, take a ripe tomato and grate it over the same plate, thus mixing the flavors of the garlic and the fresh tomato.
  5. Spread the tomato and garlic mixture generously over the toasted bread.
  6. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  7. For a more substantial breakfast, add some slices of Serrano ham, a little fresh cheese, or some anchovies on top of the tomato.
