Meet Tijen, a talented mosaic artist based in the Northern border of Nicosia, Cyprus, whose work caught our eye (and hearts) during our travels. Working from her sunny terrace studio in the bazaar, Tijen handcrafts each piece with intricate care, from bespoke door numbers to wall art filled with colour, texture and story.
Her process is slow, intentional, and full of love; no two pieces are ever the same. With a deep connection to her local community, Tijen sources materials thoughtfully and pours her years of experience into each design.
We first met Tijen at a local bazaar on the Turkish side of Cyprus, where her artistry instantly stood out. After commissioning a custom mosaic for our own home, we knew we had to share her work with the world.
